Getting everyone organized and working toward the same goals is critical to team success, and it takes time and ongoing effort. Before diving into your work, establish your team agreements, plan your work using the Team Assignment Plan (TAP), monitor your progress, and celebrate your successes. These efforts can offset the competing pressures of school, work, family, and friends that intensify as the work gets harder and deadlines approach. It is your responsibility to be proactive and resolution focused. Team challenges can only be resolved when they are embraced.
